I had an appointment today in Capitola.  This is the tiny little beach town in the heart of Santa Cruz.  It's everything you could imagine, with loads of restaurants with beach/ocean views.  It's super fun in the summer because all the bars with live bands playing and people just walk from one place to the next. It literally right on the sand.  There are shops and tourists and it's crowded.  The homes are piled one on top of another on small one way streets in a maze of twists and turns in a very little area.
I came out of an appointment today and turned the corner and saw this was so striking in person I took the picture right out my car window...sorry for the phone line, didn't pay attention, but I really wanted to share this....and then I drove down the road a piece and turned around to take a long view of our quaint little town of Capitola....I'm so lucky to live in such a beautiful place...hope you enjoy...juner

Love that little town! It looks sort of European. Yes, you are lucky to live closeby.
