Here is the other side of the master bath door that I finished last week and never shared...just a reminder the blue is the inside and the plum/blue is the outside,(and the antique gold is not finished on the door frame outstide. NOT good on the photo color which makes me crazy!
The first shot is with a flash the second without...
the color is more true to the darker one..but you can't really see the work...
This is the best you're going to get from me right now...either way...we're thrilled with the outcome!, enjoy, juner

WITH FLASH...A LITTLE MORE RED THAN IN PERSON |
|
WITHOUT FLASH ... TOO DULL BUT CLOSER TO THE PLUM COLOR |
|
IT LOOKS VERY OLD AND WORN OUT IN PERSON...I PROMISE |
|
REMINDER...THIS IS THE INSIDE DOOR |
|
WITHOUT FLASH |

Very very cool!I guess you have an old house too! Mine is from 1866! I have to check your blog fpr more pics of it!
No, actually this house was built fourteen years ago...it was designed to be an old french farmhouse..lot's of barnwood plank floors, etc...will be showing before and afters of the whole thing soon...thx for the comments..
June these doors came out fantastic....they truly look like old doors showing the patina of wear through time. You're good girl, you're good!
XO

Ooooh! It does look like an antique door that's been painted and repainted and weathered over the years. Nicely done! We are lucky to ever even get a painting on the walls around here, because my hubby likes ultra modern, and I like worn in!
gorgeous, I love how you framed the door in gold!
Oh I love this door!! The style of an old french farmhouse... pure bliss.
Thank you for visiting my OWOH posting. I really appreciate your kind words. Now I am going to browse your blog little more.
:O)
